M2 Halftrack Car Early Production - WWII US Army
The M2 Half-track Car was slightly shorter than the M3 and designed to carry machine-gun squads, reconnaissance teams and tow artillery. It had no rear door — crews climbed in over the sides — and featured ammunition lockers accessible from outside the vehicle.
Early production M2s served in North Africa and Sicily with US armored infantry and artillery units, carrying the fight from Kasserine to the Italian mainland.
This model captures the early M2's shorter armored body, front roller, skate-rail machine gun mount, and full front-wheel and track detail.
