The Sd.Kfz. 251/21 was an anti-aircraft version of the German medium halftrack, mounting three automatic cannons on a single pedestal. The triple mount was nicknamed the Drilling, after a three-barrelled hunting gun.

The 251/21 entered service in 1944 to protect armored units from Allied fighter-bombers. Its concentrated firepower also made it very effective against infantry and light vehicles on the ground.
