M3A1 Scout Car Ambulance - WWII US Army Medical Vehicle
$10.00
The M3A1 scout car was an open-topped armored wheeled vehicle used by US reconnaissance and cavalry units early in the war. Its armored body also made it useful for evacuating wounded under fire.
Configured with stretchers, the M3A1 could pull casualties out of danger where soft-skinned ambulances could not go. The type was widely supplied to Allied armies, including the Soviet Union.
An M3A1 scout car fitted with stretchers and a US Army driver, with the windscreen armor visor modeled open or closed.
