The Humber Armoured Car was the most widely produced British armored car of the war. The Mk I carried a 15mm Besa heavy machine gun and a 7.92mm Besa in its two-man turret.

Humbers first saw action with the 11th Hussars in North Africa in late 1941. The type then served through Sicily, Italy and Northwest Europe until the war's end, with reconnaissance regiments across the Commonwealth.
