Type 92 Heavy Machine Gun Team - WWII Imperial Japanese Army
$7.00
The Type 92 was the standard heavy machine gun of the Imperial Japanese Army, a 7.7mm air-cooled weapon on a tripod with distinctive carrying handles. Allied troops nicknamed it the Woodpecker for its slow, steady rate of fire.
It was feared across the Pacific for its accuracy and reliability, from the jungles of Burma to the island battles. The tripod could be carried by crew poles to keep the gun with the advancing infantry.
Sculpted as a 28mm crew team with the Type 92 HMG, offered in both firing and walking poses.
