T48 57mm Gun Motor Carriage (SU-57) Halftrack - WWII US Lend-Lease
$10.00
The T48 Gun Motor Carriage mounted a 57mm anti-tank gun, the American version of the British 6-pounder, on the M3 halftrack chassis. It was built in 1942 and 1943.
The US Army quickly moved on to fully tracked tank destroyers, so most T48s went to the Soviet Union, where they served as the SU-57 with tank destroyer units until the end of the war.
M3 halftrack with the 57mm gun and shield mounted in the rear.
