T17E3 Staghound 75mm Howitzer Armoured Car - WWII US Army

The T17E3 was an experimental Staghound fitted with the open-topped turret and 75mm howitzer of the M8 Howitzer Motor Carriage. It was intended as a close-support vehicle to back up armored car squadrons.

The project did not enter production. That makes it an interesting what-if vehicle for late-war games and a rare addition to any Staghound collection.
