T-38 Amphibious Light Tank - WWII Soviet Red Army
$7.00
The T-38 replaced the T-37A with a lower, wider hull and improved floatation, while keeping the same two-man crew and machine gun armament. It was intended as a reconnaissance tank able to swim across rivers and lakes.
Over a thousand were built. The T-38 saw combat in the Winter War and in the opening months of Operation Barbarossa in 1941, and some were later used as artillery tractors once their combat days were over.
The T-38 amphibious light tank with its low hull and small turret, ideal for early-war Soviet reconnaissance forces.
