The Sd.Kfz. 7/3 was a specialized version of the 8-ton halftrack with a fully armored cab and rear compartment. It served as the mobile fire control post for V-2 rocket launch batteries, protecting the crew who directed the launch.

A rare and unusual vehicle, it is a striking addition to late-war tables and makes a great objective or command piece for scenarios set in 1944 and 1945.
