Sd.Kfz. 6/2 Halftrack with 3.7cm Flak 36 - WWII German Army Anti-Aircraft

The Sd.Kfz. 6/2 mounted a 3.7cm Flak 36 anti-aircraft gun on the flatbed of the 5-ton Sd.Kfz. 6 halftrack. Fold-down sides gave the gun crew a working platform and allowed full traverse.

These self-propelled flak vehicles protected columns from low-flying aircraft from 1940 onward. Their rapid-firing 3.7cm guns were also used to great effect against ground targets.
