Marder III Sd.Kfz.139 Panzerjager 38(t) 7.62cm PaK 36(r) - WWII German Tank Destroyer
$10.00
The first Marder III mounted captured Soviet 76.2mm guns, rebored and adapted as the 7.62cm PaK 36(r), on the Czech 38(t) tank chassis. It was a fast solution to the shock of meeting T-34 and KV tanks in 1941.
With its tall superstructure it was hard to hide, but its gun was among the most powerful available at the time. These vehicles served on the Eastern Front and in North Africa.
The early Marder III with its tall open-topped superstructure and long 7.62cm gun.
