Otter Mk I Light Reconnaissance Car - WWII Canadian Army
$7.00
The Otter was Canada's light reconnaissance car, built by General Motors of Canada on a Chevrolet truck chassis. It was a Canadian take on the British Humber light reconnaissance car, armed with a Bren gun and a Boys anti-tank rifle.
Otters served with Canadian and British units in Italy and Northwest Europe, as well as with other Allied forces. They were used for reconnaissance and liaison, and some were passed to the RAF Regiment for airfield defence.
The boxy, riveted Otter light reconnaissance car on its four-wheel truck chassis.
