Laffly S15 TOE Armored Car - WWII French Army
The Laffly S15 TOE was a six-wheeled armored car built on the chassis of the Laffly S15 cross-country vehicle, which also served the French Army as an artillery tractor. TOE stood for Theatres d'Operations Exterieures, meaning service overseas in the colonies.
Produced in small numbers for French North Africa, it gave colonial units a rugged vehicle able to cope with desert terrain. It makes an unusual choice for French colonial or North African forces.
The six-wheeled Laffly S15 TOE armored car with a separate turret, plus an open hatch option.
