Sd.Kfz. 251 Ausf. C Halftrack APC - WWII German Army Panzergrenadiers

The Sd.Kfz. 251, often called the Hanomag after its chassis maker, was the standard German armored personnel carrier. It carried a squad of panzergrenadiers into battle alongside the tanks, protected from small-arms fire and shell splinters.

The Ausf. C introduced a simplified one-piece armored nose and was produced from 1940 into 1943. More than twenty variants of the 251 were built, and it served on every front where German troops fought.
