Tiger II King Tiger Heavy Tank (Sd.Kfz. 182) - WWII German Army
The Tiger II, known to the Allies as the King Tiger or Royal Tiger, was the heaviest German tank to see large-scale service. Its sloped armor and long 8.8cm KwK 43 gun made it nearly invulnerable from the front and able to destroy any Allied tank at long range.
Fewer than 500 were built, serving with heavy tank battalions in Normandy, the Ardennes, Hungary and the defense of Germany. Its great weight and overstressed drivetrain meant many were lost to breakdowns and fuel shortages rather than enemy fire.
The Tiger II heavy tank with its massive turret and long 8.8cm gun, supplied with separate tracks for easier printing.
