M5 Half-Track Personnel Carrier - WWII US Army / Lend-Lease Halftrack

The M5 half-track was built by International Harvester as a counterpart to the M3, using IH components and a homogeneous armor hull with rounded rear corners. It could carry a full squad of infantry and keep pace with armored units.

Most M5s were supplied through Lend-Lease to Britain, the Commonwealth and the Soviet Union, where they served as troop carriers and gun tractors. It is an ideal transport for Allied infantry on almost any front.
