15cm sIG 33 auf Panzer I Ausf. B Self-Propelled Gun - WWII German Army
$10.00
The 15cm sIG 33 auf Panzer I was the first German self-propelled heavy infantry gun, placing a complete 15cm gun and its carriage on top of a Panzer I chassis behind a tall shield. Only 38 were built.
They fought in France in 1940, the Balkans and the Soviet Union. Top-heavy and overloaded, they were still prized for the firepower they gave the infantry.
Tall Panzer I based gun carrier with the 15cm infantry gun behind its high armoured shield.
