Panzer IV Ausf. J Medium Tank - WWII German Late War

The Ausf. J was the final, simplified version of the Panzer IV, built until the last weeks of the war with side skirts and a long 75mm gun.

By the winter of 1944-45, Germany was scraping together its last reserves. Volksgrenadier divisions - hastily raised, but armed with modern weapons like the StG 44 assault rifle and Panzerschreck - fought in the Ardennes, along the Rhine and in the final defense of the Reich, often in greatcoats against the bitter cold.

A Panzer IV J with turret schurzen, long 75mm gun and simplified late-war details.
