Scale

The Goumiers of the Moroccan tabors were irregular mountain warriors in striped djellabas who fought for Free France in Tunisia, Sicily, Italy and the liberation of France. In the Aurunci Mountains in 1944 their skill in rough terrain helped break the Gustav Line.

France's colonial and elite troops - Foreign Legionnaires, Moroccan Goumiers, Spahis and North African units - fought from Narvik and the Battle of France to Tunisia, Italy, Provence and the liberation of France with the Free French Army.

A ten-man squad in hooded djellabas and turbans: a leader, riflemen charging, kneeling and reloading, and a grenade thrower.
