Afrika Korps Desert Patrol Squad - 10 Figures - WWII North Africa

Small patrols probed the enemy line by night across the open desert, and the men who came back with prisoners and information earned the respect of both sides.

The Deutsches Afrikakorps landed in Libya in February 1941 under Erwin Rommel and fought across the Western Desert for more than two years, from the siege of Tobruk and the Gazala line to El Alamein and the final battles in Tunisia in 1943. Tropical uniforms, pith helmets, goggles and sun-bleached webbing made the Afrika Korps soldier instantly recognizable.

Ten Afrika Korps soldiers in shorts and long trousers with steel helmets, pith helmets and field caps - saluting, standing at ease, observing with binoculars, waving the squad forward and advancing with rifles.
