Senegalese Tirailleurs Rifle Squad - WWII Free French Senegalese Tirailleurs North Africa

Colonial Tirailleurs made up a large part of the Free French forces in Africa and fought with great distinction at Bir Hakeim and in Tunisia.

The Tirailleurs Senegalais - colonial infantry recruited across French West Africa - served with the Free French forces throughout the desert war, standing alongside the Foreign Legion at Bir Hakeim and in the battles that followed. Their distinctive chechia fez and hardy reputation made them respected soldiers in every theater they fought.

Six Tirailleurs in chechia fez with bolt-action rifles in firing and advancing poses.
