Type 2 Ka-Mi Amphibious Tank - WWII Japanese Navy - 3D Printed Wargaming Miniature
The Type 2 Ka-Mi was one of the most ingenious tanks of the war. Built for the Imperial Japanese Navy's Special Naval Landing Forces, it was a light tank fitted with large detachable pontoons on the bow and stern that let it swim ashore from ships and submarines.
Once on the beach, the crew dropped the floats and fought as a normal tank. Ka-Mis saw action in the Marshall Islands, Saipan and the Philippines — a unique choice for any Pacific theater force.
Available in Float Version with pontoons fitted, or Land Version ready for combat ashore. Features the two-man turret, 37mm gun and detailed running gear.
