SU-122 Soviet Assault Gun - WWII Red Army Self-Propelled Howitzer - 3D Printed Miniature
Built on the battle-proven T-34 chassis, the SU-122 put a 122mm M-30 howitzer into a low, sloped armored casemate. Entering service in early 1943, it was the Red Army's first mass-produced self-propelled gun — designed to blast fortified positions and bunkers ahead of advancing infantry.
Its heavy high-explosive shells could also knock out enemy armor at close range, and SU-122 regiments fought through Kursk and the great Dnieper offensives before the SU-152 and ISU series took over the role.
The model captures the SU-122's angular fighting compartment, the massive howitzer mantlet, T-34 running gear with full track detail, and the external fuel tanks and tools on the rear deck.
