Sturmpanzer IV Brummbar Late - WWII German Assault Howitzer - 3D Printed Wargaming Miniature

Allied soldiers nicknamed it the "Grizzly Bear." The Sturmpanzer IV was a Panzer IV chassis carrying a heavily armored casemate and a 15cm StuH 43 howitzer — a purpose-built bunker buster designed to support infantry in urban and fortified combat.

It first saw action at Kursk in 1943 and went on to fight in Italy, Normandy and on the Eastern Front. Late-production vehicles like this one received a redesigned superstructure with a ball-mounted machine gun and a revised commander's cupola.

Capturing the late-production configuration, this model shows the thick sloped front armor, the stubby 15cm howitzer, side armor detail and the full Panzer IV running gear.
