Scale

The Panzer III Ausf A — where it all began. Produced in tiny numbers between 1937 and 1938, the Ausf A was Germany's first serious attempt at a medium tank designed around crew effectiveness and future development potential. Only ten were ever built, making this one of the rarest and most historically significant variants in the entire Panzer III lineage.

The Ausf A saw limited combat service in Poland in 1939, giving Wehrmacht tank crews their first real taste of armored warfare and providing invaluable lessons that shaped every subsequent variant. Its distinctive large road wheel suspension system sets it apart immediately from later production models — a hallmark of the earliest German armor development.

Printed to order in high-resolution grey resin on a professional-grade photopolymer printer. The distinctive early road wheel configuration, short 37mm KwK 36 gun, and early turret design are all faithfully reproduced at every scale.

Available in 6 scales:
- 1:100 (15mm) — $10
- 1:87 (HO scale) — $12
- 1:72 (20mm) — $15
- 1:56 (28mm) — $21
- 1:48 (32mm) — $25
- 1:35 — $32

Perfect for Bolt Action, Flames of War, Chain of Command, What a Tanker, and other WWII tabletop wargames. An essential piece for any serious German armor collector or early war Polish campaign force.

Printed in standard grey resin — ready to prime and paint. Ships unpainted.

Licensed and printed under the Night Sky Miniatures commercial merchant license.
