M3A1 Scout Car Soviet Lend-Lease - WWII Red Army - 3D Printed Wargaming Miniature
Over 3,000 American M3A1 scout cars were shipped to the Soviet Union under Lend-Lease, making the Red Army one of its biggest users. Soviet crews valued its speed, four-wheel drive and open fighting compartment, and used it for reconnaissance, command and towing light guns.
Many served with Soviet motorcycle and reconnaissance battalions all the way to Berlin — a great way to add something unusual and historically accurate to a Soviet force.
This model captures the scout car's armored body, the distinctive front roller bumper, the skate-rail around the fighting compartment and detailed wheels and suspension.
