Around 94 were built, and they gave Rommel's Afrika Korps its first self-propelled heavy artillery at El Alamein.

Later they served with 21st Panzer Division in Normandy, where their big shells supported the counterattacks against the Allied beachhead. After the fall of France in 1940 the Germans captured more than 300 Lorraine 37L tracked supply carriers. Major Alfred Becker's workshops in Paris rebuilt them as the Lorraine Schlepper (f), one of the most successful conversion programs of the war, producing self-propelled guns and support vehicles that fought in North Africa, Russia and Normandy.

Supplied as the hull with its tall armored fighting compartment plus the separate 15cm howitzer, mount and rear recoil spade.

Available Scales

1:100 (15mm)

1:87 (HO scale)

1:72 (20mm)

1:56 (28mm Bolt Action)

1:48 (32mm)

1:35 (display / diorama)

Details

Sculpt: Fylde Armouries licensed design

Material: high-resolution grey resin

Includes: Hull with tracks, howitzer, mount and rear spade

Sold unpainted and unassembled — ready for primer and paint

Collectible hobby item for ages 14+, not a toy

Perfect for Bolt Action, Chain of Command, Flames of War and other WWII tabletop rulesets, or as a display and diorama piece.
